StarBaron - Skirmish
Rated 5 / 5 stars July 28, 2008
Love it
I love this game, Gotta be one of my favorite concepts. Some suggestions I have are
-Maybe make the converting of your own stars more nessacary. I often find I can win without changing any of my stars. But if you did you would have to balance it with overdoing it, if you had to constantly change stars it would get way too complicated.
-Add a vacinity option. Basicly a command where all the stars directly next to an enemy star attack insted of having to select just those stars. I generally just select everything and play the entire game like that and loose massive ammounts of ships to enemy minefeilds and defense bases.
- Definintly needs a campaign mode, though the skirmish mode totally rocks.
- If you get rid of the option or lessen the efectiveness of mass attacking, then different types of ships might be cool.
I absolutly love the game and I cant wait for Number 2

I liked it
At first I figured it wouldnt be all that good, But the animation got to me. The running sequnce was funny and I liked the earth with the missles in the back, but it glitches at about 300 and the missles stop falling

Very cool
I was just learning about the rat experiment in my psychology class, The idea is very interesting. Ending should have been different. I was thinking the world was going to succumb to having the implant.

Liked it
The concept and story is great. The animation and sound need alot of work though. You should definitely try to redo this one. Loved the ending btw

Wow
That was great. Im curious though, are the waving outlines an actual side effect of the frame by frame, or did you go out of your way for that fun tid-bit
it just happens when I work too fast with fbf. Most people sketch out their animation then redraw it well for the finished piece, I just work straight into the finished piece. I like the look and I'm too lazy to draw everything twice. Thanks for the review! :)
